I have had the pleasure to work with Jim on 2 projects at Barclays, the first project was a medium sized project and involved working closely with Jim to design a database import and export process for Mortgage Application Archives. The second project is a huge project at Barclays working to extreme pressure and un moveable deadlines.

In the times I worked with Jim he has shown total professionalism and also is a very high skilled professional. He works to deadlines and delivers the best quality both in design and build phases. Both projects would have struggled without Jim's dedication and skill.

Jim was an enthusiastic and detailed tester, interested in not just testing the systems but also in understanding how the components of the system all fit together. He was someone I enjoyed working with and would happily work with him again.

Jim has a variety of technical knowledge and impressively proficient in databases, knows very well how SQL engine works, writing SQL queries, data warehousing, MI, query optimization and tuning. In real world he is lightning fast to catch an SQL/Database problem and come up with solutions. He is enthusiastic and very fast learner shows the behaviour to get involved in technical aspects beyond his boundary.
